A Local Approach To Land Development
There are three main ways to add value to raw land.
1. Cash Flow
This is where you buy raw land, sit on it, and “land bank” it. You can:
- Farm it yourself or lease it to a farmer
- Rent it out for recreational use, hunting, or camping
- Use it for boat and RV storage
2. Annexation and Zoning
This involves taking a piece of property in the county and annexing it into the city, rezoning it for a different use. For example, turning agricultural land into residential lots.
